Unsere erste Renovierung war die Küche.

The old kitchen...

Elaborate oak cabinet faces, imposing but dark and impossible to clean.

Old Butcherblock counters, wornout appliances

Of course, there had to be granite counters.

But I insisted on other things...

...the hybrid cooktop...

...and a huge new window

And many handy drawers and cupboards

Professional supervision was required (while I went for walks with Gina!)
