This huge monument to Lakota Sioux Principal War Chief Tȟašúŋke Witkó (Crazy Horse)
was created by polish sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski to counter the Mount Rushmore monument to leaders of genocidal removal sited on stolen land. Ten times larger than Rushmore, it is an entirely volunteer and public donation effort that was continued by his family and volunteers.
